Dromedary Pen
Dromedary pens are used to house camels. After a dromedary pen is built, you
need to attract camels to enter your pen. Dromedary pens can hold up to a maximum
of 10 camels. Camels are used to produce camel
meat, dung, leather,
and oil.
There are some facts worth knowing before keeping camels
Luring:
- In order to lure a camel, you must put straw
in the trough of the pen
- For camels to enter the pen, the door must be open
- Every night at midnight, 1 camel enters the pen with the most straw and
an open door
- The new camel eats all the straw in the trough and takes up residence in
that pen
- This obviously encourages competition for all the people trying to lure
camels. This can push the amount of straw needed to lure a camel from hundreds
to thousands of straw - depending upon how many people are trying to lure
camels.
- Once camels are in your pen, they will not leave regardless of whether the
door is open or not.
Feeding/Breeding/Upkeep/Slaughtering
- Camels eat straw at a rate of 10 straw per 10 minutes per camel
- If camels do not have any straw for 24 hours, they will die
- There are male and female camels, if you have one of each, they will breed
as long as they have straw available to them
- Camels will not produce dung if they have no straw to eat
- Male camels can be slaughtered to produce 30 camel meat,10 oil, and 6 leather
- Female camels can be slaughtered to produce 30 camel meat, 50 oil, and 6
leather
