Charcoal ovens are a massive step up for efficiency when producing charcoal. Ovens can hold 30wood in the chamber. There are a few different recipes known, the 21 fuel 6-step recipe has been tested and known to be reliable. There are other recipes that use less fuel and/or steps. With a good recipe, it may possible to run several ovens at the same time.
