Barrel Grinders are used to make aluminum into aluminum powder. Aluminum powder is used in the production of fireworks. In order to operate the barrel grinder, you must load aluminum debens into the grinder and then wind the crank. It takes 4 - 5 people to continuously wind the crank since it is hard work. If the grinder is not wound with aluminum in it, the grinder will bind up and become unusable. In order to make the grinder useable again, you must repair it with 4 leather and 4 oil. The barrel grinder can hold a maximum of 100 aluminum. Silver is now able to be ground into silver powder as well. Silver powder is used in minting for ink, as well as combining with sheetglass.
